Climate change, rising sea levels and erosion are combing to threaten our coastline. Combine this with an Environment Agency policy of allowing the coast to naturally realign, with intervention limited to those areas where the value of property saved is greater than the costs of protection, then these liminal spaces are in real danger of inundation. This work looks at those areas. There is an associated moving image work entitled “On the Edge” (some images are currently represented by book scans and will be replaced by original files) For further information on sea level rise, see. https://www.climatechangepost.com/united-kingdom/coastal-floods/
